Become a Cocktail Captain

We literally couldn’t do this work without folks like you stepping up to support us, and we’d love for you to consider serving as a Cocktail Captain for the night.

What’s that you ask?

A Cocktail Captain is someone who agrees to bring 8 friends (including yourself) — basically you’ll be the cool kids at the party. You can either buy all 8 tickets for $600 ($75/person) and encourage them to donate that evening or just recruit 7 of your people to claim their own ticket and join you at the event, it's up to you! In return, you’ll not only have our undying love, your name will be printed in the program, you will automatically be entered into the raffle basket of your choice, and we'll have a special surprise just for Cocktail Captains that evening.

What does this entail?

Invite your friends, family, sweeties and coworkers to join you at the event. Your goal will be to invite folks who will connect to FEEST’s youth-led vision for healthy schools and neighborhoods. We need your help in reaching our fundraising goal of $60,000 for the event. Don't worry! We will provide you with everything you need to get the party started: invitations, tools, and all the enticing details to inspire people to come.

Tell me more about the party.

The event will take place on Friday, Nov. 2nd at 6:30pm at Washington Hall (153 14th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122). The evening will include artisanal cocktails that YOU get to make, hors d'oeuvres and bite-size desserts by local restaurants, youth driven conversations and stories, a raffle featuring baskets with unique prizes from around the City, and music and dancing throughout the night. You and your guests won’t wanna miss it!

Is there actually a table?

This year we will not have assigned tables for Cocktail Captains and their guests. The overall theme of the evening is a cocktail party with passed apps, 4–5 food stations, 3–4 bars and lots of mingling. To support this atmosphere, we keep the space open with smaller cocktail rounds and chairs, rather than full of big tables which are designed for a plated dinner. With these smaller tables you can check your coat and bag and then mix and mingle throughout the night.

Will there be space for guests to sit down?

FEEST is committed to ensuring that the Cocktail Party is accessible to anyone who wants to join. If you have guests who need seats for the night, please email Monica (monica@feestseattle.org) to be sure we reserve seats or a small cocktail round. We are happy to make additional accommodations as needed.

The answer is YES, I want to be a FEEST Cocktail Captain! What next?

Thank you! Please email Becca (becca@feestseattle.org) and we will send you a Table Captain Toolkit with more details. We can also set up a phone call to dig into any additional questions you might have.

Thank you for your ongoing support of FEEST. We look forward to a great event!

Becca and the FEEST Team

P.S. If you don't think you can get a crew of 7 FEEST Fans, it's not a problem. We can partner you up with some of our other FEEST superstars to split a table! Just email us and let us know.

FEEST sets the table for young people to transform the health and equity of their community by gathering around food & working towards systems change.
