Food Justice Movie Night & Dance Party
Saturday, November 14, 2020

A virtual film screening, workshops, and dance party.

The film: How is the food served at school connected to young people’s long term health and well-being? Our new film maps it all out with fun animations and interviews with FEEST Youth Leaders. Students discuss the very real impacts of nutrition, racism, and food apartheid on their day-to-day experiences, as well as the surprising connections between school food and the school-to-prison pipeline.

Community: After the film, FEEST youth will lead participants in workshops and conversations about food justice and how they can get involved in the movement. Then we’ll end the night with a virtual dance party with DJ Reverend Dollars!

Perks: With every ticket sold, participants will receive a “fun box” in the mail with snacks, swag, and other gifts just for being part of the event. There will also be an add-on option to get a made-with-love gourmet meal and cocktail delivered from That Brown Girl Cooks.

Accessibility: Film includes captions. Tiered ticket pricing available.

Benefit: All proceeds from the event will support FEEST's youth leadership program.
